Our Kindergarten Prep program seeks to empower children to think critically, explore new ideas, and build STEM competencies, language, art, and social skills they’ll need for success in school. We encourage developmental and academic achievements and support for core pre-academic areas including literacy, mathematical reasoning, and scientific investigation. We organize multiple and diverse learning activities that ensure children thrive in executive functioning, social awareness, and health and wellness. We focus on building a strong learning foundation through the understanding of teamwork and a positive self-image that will be crucial for success in school and life.
The main objective of our Kindergarten Prep classroom is to prepare our students for kindergarten. They will participate in fun activities that relate to our curriculum. Children will be learning phonics, writing, and how to follow directions. We have a graduation ceremony at the end of the year. Our Kindergarten Prep curriculum for four-year-olds addresses the following objectives:

Our goal is to make the transition into kindergarten as smooth as possible. Bailey’s Learning Academy has a curriculum designed especially for prekindergarten students. It introduces communication, self-awareness, the alphabet, and one-to-one correspondence. The supplies you will need to bring include a change of clothes in case of any accidents, and a small size pillow and blanket for nap time.
